CME Group and Silicon Data set 5 October 2026 for the first two compute futures contracts — H100 and B200 rental index futures, settled against Silicon Data's GPU rental indices. Compute is being priced like a commodity. What is still missing underneath that price is the part that makes a commodity tradeable: a neutral way to establish that the hours were actually delivered, and to release or refund the money accordingly. That is what Hashlock builds.
Stated plainly because it is the first question a diligent reader asks: the settlement rail is real and in production, and the compute module on top of it is not. The nearer-term revenue line is institutional crypto OTC, which runs on the same rail today.
